About Us

My name is Mandy, and I'm a quilter.

Quilting is a way of life, or at least it is my way of life. When some people relax in the evening by watching a movie or reading a book, you can find me in front of my sewing machine or at the ironing board.

When I began my quilting journey over 20 years ago, I had no idea that it would become a lifestyle. Not that I'm complaining, because I love it!

With the launch of The Grumpy Shopper, I now offer longarm services and custom t-shirt quilts.

January 8-11, 2026, I am hosting a Winter Blues Quilt Retreat in Baldwyn, Mississippi. It's a great time to work on a few of those projects that you just haven't had the time to finish. It's amazing how much you can get done when you don't have to worry about cooking, cleaning, or anything else but sewing. It's going to be a lot of fun!
